I hope this post would help other forum members when you look out for bargains - perhaps we saved around $200 just by doing a google search before going out for shopping.
Buying one dehumidifier had long been on our list and few times we just dropped by the stores like Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, Bond & Bond etc, this weekend we finally made up our mind and I started doing little bit of google search before stepping out for shopping. In about 15 mins, I searched for few over TradeMe, Mitsubishi website and general google search. We were looking for a 26L reliable dehumidifier and were satisfied with Mitsubishi (MJ-E26VX). The best price I could find over Trademe was $850 and another search on Noel Leeming website gave us the cost of around $727. Harvey Norman being our first preference, we went to the store in Manukau (Supa Centa) and were shocked with the price quote - $950!! and walked around their store towards Noel Leeming & bought the same stuff for $727, which was instant $200+ saving.
There were other electronics goods cheaper at Harvey Norman compared to other stores however little bit of research at the right time saved some hard earned money! Might be useful for others.
