Do we need to show some kind of financial evidence viz. bank account statements , other monetary assets or money in other values when applying for residency.

It depends on if you have a job offer or not? You need to be able to prove that you can support yourself, having a job is sufficient proof.

They haven't mentioned anything related to this in the documents Checklist so I also didn't send any evidence related to financial circumstances like bank statements and stuff. I hope it is not gonna create any hurdle in the processing and I think they could ask for it later on if required by them.

Any further thoughts about it. Because if it is necessary to send finanical documents then I may send it now which later can be added with my application ?

Since requirements vary with individual cases, probably do nothing until/unless your CO asks you for anything.
