1) At present what opportunity exist in IT industry in NZ
2)what has the recession impact ICT industry in NZ?

The reputation is that there are still jobs available, but it's not as easy as a few years ago.

The number of jobs is no indication that you may have success in getting a job. I have been told by a recruiter that the average number of applicants for IT jobs is 300. And IT skills is not the only thing they look for when hiring, they need local experience and solid references preferably of people within the organization.
