Shipping caravan from uk to nz

Has anyone shipped a caravan out. Looking at prices of old caravans out there, I think it would be cheaper to ship ours out rather than sell it in UK. Any information would be of help:

I remember meeting a family in the purging rain the night our container vessel arrived in Lytellton who had done precisely that...shipped a caravan out! They said it was cheaper and they had owned theirs for 5years and this was it just coming the from the UK.
