Default Sending video (digital ) back to friends and family

    Hi,

I have made some videos which are MP4 format and about 1200 MB in size.

Is there anywhere I can post them, facebook crashes when I try to upload. Any help will be gratefully recieved.

    Cheers

megaupload !! I think Facebook has some limitations, could you try to use torrent application or probably vimeo.com would be best best.

Mailbigfile is a good way to send. You're allowed to 'send' 2Gb in file size.

The person receives an email address that is available for 7 days.

    Efficient and not expensive either.

    Thanks,

    Eliot

The only issue with dropbox is the folder has to be a shared login (I think)...

Maybe Google Drive to share, depending on playing times/file size of your videos. Though can purchase extra storage, or convert and compress your videos, e.g. to divX.

No, the person you are sending it to doesn't need to have a Dropbox login. There's a public folder, and you can upload it there, after which you can request a public URL to the file. You can then just mail them the URL and they will be able to download the file. (if that's what you meant... )

How about Vimeo? I am not sure how that works, but at work I sometimes preview films which have been uploaded and are set as private, so I need a password to be able to access them.
