Default Modes of Paying ITA fees

    Hi,

Has anyone paid the ITA fees while submission, from singapore. I read there is a bank draft in USD required.
Any inputs on how tedious is that process and can it be done in any bank in Singapore.

    Thanks in advance!

You can pay by credit card; however, you have to provide CVC number as well.

    hi rv1103,

Yes, you can go to any Singapore banks and request for a US bank draft. As long as you have a savings account from them, you can ask for a US bank draft. We went to standard chartered, they charge $30 for US bank draft. So went to OCBC, they charged us for $15 for a US bank draft. Also, in Standard CHartered, it takes days/weeks before you can get the US bank draft. While in OCBC, they will give it to you at the same day. They will also deduct it right away from your savings account. You'll be asked to fill up the form and wait for the US bank draft. Fill up the beneficiary name and USD amount needed.

You can also do telegraphic transfer but it is expensive. We chose US bank draft as it's way cheaper..

    hope this helps!

    Thanks Liz5.
Did you fill the beneficiary name as "New Zealand Consulate-general Shanghai"?
what else did you fill up in the form.

    Thank you.

Hi, I just went to the OCBC bank to do the bank draft.
Like what rv1103 mentioned, OCBC charges SGD$15 service charge. Today's USD-SGD exchange rate is 1.25.
I have prepared USD$2010. ($1970 application fee + $10 if pay in USD + $30 for courier return).
The beneficiary name is "New Zealand Consulate-general Shanghai" (OCBC will put in capital letter).

    Hi Ezinir,

Please address the bank draft to "Immigration New Zealand" if you are applying to Shanghai branch from Singapore.
