Default heamatology test- Heamaglobin low for my pregnant wife

    Dear members
My wife is expecting with our second child. she is in her third semester.
We got our medicals done last Wednesday.
My wife hemoglobin is 9.2gm/dL (normal range is 12.0 to 16.0).
Can we proceed with the result or should we wait and re take the medicals post delivery?
    Regards

You can go ahead with the application. They may refer your wife's medical to the MA. On the other hand, low levels are very common during pregnancy, as mentioned (among many other places) here http://www.buzzle.com/articles/low-h...pregnancy.html, so it may pass immediately. In your wife's place, I would mention this reading to her own doctor, so s/he can recommend any treatment felt necessary, and your wife can start it at once. That way, in case the medical is referred, and the MA asks for a follow up from a doctor, your wife's own doctor will be in a position to state what treatment or diet was recommended, and that following up over (however long) now gives a result of (whatever), so that will give the minimum delay for your application.
