Living in Auckland... Applying for jobs in Wellington...urgent

Have to submit reply to CO by 4th Jan.

Just wondering a case, suppose a person comes on visit visa for skilled employment hunt in Auckland.

• Is there any barrier/regulation that he/she can't apply for job in Wellington or other city, OR
  Are there any practical difficulties like moving to Wellington when interview call comes, say 7 hours long journey

Fly there. There are frequent flights, and the journey time is roughly an hour. You can sometimes take the same time getting from one part of Auckland to another by road!

Fly. Air NZ does standby flights if you just pop along to the airport. You have to be an Airpoints member to do this, but flights will cost you $69 each way and take an hour. Much better than a 7 hour drive. You'll be much better prepared for the interview too.
