The local police will do it for you. http://www.police.govt.nz/node/23110

    Sunnyhanda,

If you are currently living outside Australia, you have to seek help from Police in your current local jurisdiction to have your fingerprints taken. This is usually done at a local police station and will have some charge involved.
After getting the fingerprint impressions done at the local police, you will have to send this to AFP for National police checks and this must include your finger impressions taken at a local police station.

    Hope this helps!
