    Default Waiting....

So tomorrow it will have been five weeks since we submitted my partner's application for a residency visa. We are waiting on his character waiver assessment to be completed. Emailed our CO on Monday, and she said that she 'hopes' to receive a decision from her manager on Wednesday (today). Obviously this hasn't happened.

Do I just leave it now? I don't want to pester our CO and it isn't exactly a decision that is within her control. The waiting is just so frustrating. I probably just need to vent about it. I just wish I knew for sure how long it would take.

I know the feeling, in 3 days's time it will be 5 months since our ITA papers were received by London office and still NOTHING, not a CO, not a mail NOTHING!!!

And in the meantime, they say "life goes on", but how????

Yeah, I too was told 16 weeks. Now I'm in the 19th week of waiting. No CO yet. Only work helps me not to think about it. As soon as I come home I can't stop thinking. Yes, I'm trying to enjoy life, but let's be honest - it is tough. The only one way is faith and patience. I'm tired, I'm very tired of uncertainty.
    May God Almighty help us.

You said it, this waiting bit is tiresome.

But yes GOD is in control and HE will help us
