Hi,
If parents, and 2 of their 4 children have citizenship, would their other 2 children be entitled to citizenship, (maybe by descent?) if they currently reside in NZ but don't have residency?
All children and parents born in the UK.
Thanks

Is this the situation?
Parents are originally British
Parents acquired citizenship after migrating
2 kids have taken out citizenship
2 have not
It's not clear from your posting the circumstances--more details please
I agree more information is required, but, here is the page for citizenship by descent:
http://www.dia.govt.nz/Services-Citi...hip-by-Descent
Parents have 4 children, all 6 are British citizens.
Parents and 2 younger children came over from the UK with PR. Now have citizenship.
Other 2 older children both followed later, on WHV, no PR. Would these 2 older children gain citizenship in any way shape or form, as their parents and 2 siblings are citizens?
I agree, it's no. The older children would be seen as having to qualify for citizenship (or visas of any kind) in their own right.
