    The question is not around being Scared, but since its Financials - its great to have straight route and pay taxes, rather than having complecation laters.
    If anyone is selling property in India and after conversion to NZ $ as well, its a heafty amount, dont you agree.

    Yes. Thomas Cook or you can use bank to bank transfers.

    Ok I want to buy a property here in NZ. I was wondering if they would charge a tax for the money I bring in here to invest. I am not talking about the bank charges but the tax that the government charges. Any tips would be appreciated.

    There is a time limit, you have to bring it within 4 years of residency, check with IRD.
