    Default No response from INZ,Mumbai

    I have applied for student visa to immigration New Zealand,Mumbai on 10th Jan.
    Its Been morethan two weeks and still no response from INZ..
    My course starts on 11th Feb...
    Can anyone plz let me know how to track the status?

    I think I have seen that other people had said, when they submitted their application, they set up an online tracking method - probably when NZ wakes up later on, someone will be able to tell you the details.

    Otherwise, you can contact INZ by phone or email and ask them if they can give you any news. It is very understandable that you should be concerned, when it is not long till your course starts.

    Mumbai processing center is very slow. It took 2 months to get my silver fern visa while the New Delhi center processed in less than a month. I had tough time following up with them because there is no direct contact number and the only way is to contact INZ New Delhi on email and then ask for the status of your application.

    Can Anyone plz tel me how long does it take to process student visa in INZ, Mumbai?
    I called up INZ,contact center they said tat they hav recvd my application n its under process.she also said its not yet allocated to Commisionor officer. Allocation will be done within 2 to 3 weeks...
    M not able to understand...How long does it takes once its allocated?

    I'm afraid there is no set time. It varies from one person's case to another.

    INZ website mentions a timeframe of 8 to 10 weeks for processing study visas at Mumbai branch

    I have received a mail from my Case Officer..he mentioned that he has recommended a decision on my application n will be able to provide an update within week....
    Wat does this mean??????????
