Default pursuing my dream - Work visa

Hi, After some research I decided to start pursuing my dream of living in NZ, one of the options is to get a PR, but I'm just above the limit of 140 with 130 points, looks that this will not put the odds on us, so that's why I decided to start looking for a company that could sponsor my work visa. Any Advice? I've been sending 3 CV's each day, but I don't know if I'm just wasting my time doing so through a website or should I send my CV directly to some agencies that could point me to the right direction and look after the companies that actually do this kind of recruitment. Here's a little bit of information about my CV:

Java, C# and C++ developer with 15+ years of experience developing applications and more than 8 years programming in Java, and more than 20 in the IT field, also I've a certification as Architect, Programmer and Business component developer, I'm the developer of an open source NoSQL database (djondb) and I've been working as Architect and Senior developer for more than 8 years, ... etc.

I know there're some recruitment agencies that specializes in IT, like AbsoluteIT, recruitIT, etc... but after sending some CVs I'm wondering if I should be contacting some Big companies directly that could be willing to hire me, or I should keep sending my resume to these recruitment agencies, is there a fellow developer that could point me in the right direction, how did you get your job to get an sponsored visa? (I'm pretty sure that I'm not short in qualifications but seems that it's not very easy path to go thru).

Thanks for taking the time to help me,

    Juan Pablo (Cross).

I have a good friend who is the IT specialist for a large recruitment agency in Auckland (I think they have branches in Wellington and Christchurch too). She is from the UK originally. If you want to send me a private message I will pass on her details to you or vice versa. The biggest current demand is for .net, Python and Java Developers - she says she almost always has jobs in these areas. With 130 points and a job offer, you would be in with a very good chance of getting your EoI selected or go down the Work Visa route and apply for residence once you have more than 12 months experience. Do you have a degree - could be relevant in claiming bonus points. Cheers. Karen
