    Default Regarding chest x-ray.

    Hello everyone,

In my INZ 1096, the evidence of TB was ticked by the radiologist. After following up all the tests ie sputum, blood and PPD test, it has been ruled out and moreover I have no symptoms of tb whatsoever. Now for my visa processing, I've sent the same INZ 1096 with my test results and a letter from my specialist. Anyone with similar situation?? What happens next? Any help is very much appreciated.

You X ray and other letter may be referred to a medical examiner in NZ and if it's clear your application would be processed.
This may cause delays in your visa processing and may take longer than usual time.
But all of my above comments are speculation and it might be the case that INZ CO is satisfied with evidence and your application is processed as normal.
    Good luck.

I had a different issue (two actually) with my medical, and I expected them to come up. So I got a letter from a physician (specialist in my case) that I presented to the doctor giving the medical for inclusion with the medical report. I did get a medical referral, but it came back all clear in about 10 days.

Hi sondekitsh, sorry I can't help here. We are still awaiting results ourselves.

But just out of curiosity: I assume the examiner spoke with you about everything anyway but did you ever get access to see the results yourself? Was your paperwork sealed in an envelope after the chest x-ray?

We only got to see them by chance because I remembered I hadn't signed the form in presents of the radiographer so they had to open the envelope again for me to sign and re-sealed it afterwards. Nobody ever spoke to us about the results. Again: I assume they would have if there was anything wrong with us.

Yes Hanna, I had open access to my results and my medical certificates as well. My visa is being applied through the company I work for. So I was purely and only responsible for completing the visa's checklist. That's why I had access to those.

I'm pretty sure that your application will also be approved as the examiner would have asked you for further checks if it was serious.
