Default ITA checklist NZQA Point for AASS --- (Full NZQA assessment)......?? Urgent Help Plz

    Dear All,

I recieved my ITA and Sent my qualification assessment to NZQA for IQA . During IQA application i marked purpose of application " Immigration"

Now when i went through the ITA checklist i found one specific statement in which INZ said " However, it has been noted that you have claimed the following points for which you will need to provide additional documents as outlined below to establish your eligibility for these points"
Points Claimed: Bonus points in AASS
Policy requirement:Bachelor degree (Level 7) specialising in Information Technology (Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information Technology)* OR
Bachelor degree (Level 7) specialising in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Technology* AND three years of relevant work experience.
Documents required: Full NZQA assessment AND References and/or job descriptions outlining your core functions in each role that you have claimed points for.

Please can you explain me this requirement in overall and specifically "Full NZQA assessment" , Is this statement pointing some special kind of IQA assessment to be done or it is the normal one only for immigration purpose which i already sent to NZQA for IQA???

Your early comments are apperciated because my application is with NZQA fro IQA since 10 days, so if any assessment creteria need to change with ref. to Full NZQA assessment then may i can send a request to NZQA.

    Thank you.

The full assessment mentioned is just IQA. That consists of an in-depth look at the course you followed, the subjects studied, for how long, to what depth, and will enable NZQA to see if there is a NZ qualification which yours is approximately equivalent to, and, in any case, to state what Level it is at.

    Hi JandM,

I have done a level 7 course in India, however it took longer for me to complete than the usual time frame, but completed. will it have any impact on the assessment and the points ?

(My university is not listed in the exempted list, so I will be filing for the assessment)

I've only just seen this post - sorry.

I haven't ever seen anyone mention this situation before. But, looking at the definition of levels on an official NZ education site such as this http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/studying-in-...elor-s-degree/ and this http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/studying-in-...quals/diploma/, it seems as though the vital difference is in the number and nature of the credits. There's no mention of a spread of time. If you gained the credits and are regarded by the awarding body as holding the qualification, it's to be hoped that would satisfy NZQA. Fingers crossed, and please let us know. +++++++++++++++++
