Hi there,
I just wondering can I apply for residency or not?
My husband and I came to New Zealand two years a go for studying master of business administration. we graduated around few months ago. while we studied we have been working part time and during summer full time but our position were not related to our major either of master or our bachelor. (he studied bachelor of chemical engineering and I studied urban planning)
Now we got work visa, all consultant told us we have to get job offer or the job which is related to our master degree and the salary should be around 40k-45k annual. The question is that we have around 125 points can we apply for residency or not?

Application for EOI for residency can be done any time as long as you have sufficient points to get selected in the pool. After you have job offer you can update INZ to get fast processing.

You don't say anything about what visas you are on at the moment. But remember that you must make sure you are legally in NZ at all times.
