Default What's the pay like working in food insdustries?

Jobs in food industries that im referring are like McD/KFC/Domino cashier, waiter, the one making the food behind at the kitchen. I am wondering how much would they pay hourly? I had a read online and if it's McD cashier they pay around NZD10 per hours. Is that true? I though it would be a little higher. How about those bar/restaurant waiter? Tax deduction would be around how much?

Well i am not going to look for those job as FT but just in case i haven't really found a proper job, i'll consider those first to keep me alive

McDonalds pay minimum wage to start, rising to 14.50 after initial training is complete. That's what DS gets in Auckland CBD. He has no minimum guaranteed hours but generally gets between 25 and 35 hours a week dependent on sales at his branch.
