Got my AIP letter today

Thank you all for the amazing source of information about everything!

Flight is booked for next friday as I start work end of the month! Can I get visa put into my passport by going to New Zealand house in London? I have seen a thread stating that someone has done this but it was over a year ago.

I have asked my case officer but I'm inpatient and want an answer quickly.

I was told recently that there is a one month wait for the blue stickers. I guess you just have to join the line.

Yes, you can go to NZ House and get the stamping done.

I got an email from our CO that there is a long waiting time for blue stickers at the moment, over 20 working days. So since you are in a hurry, maybe you can try to call them and arrange to have a sticker put on place there.

I know have my blue stickers in my passport
As others have suggested (& after a phone call to CO), I sent a covering letter explaining my situation and received my visa within 4 working days!!! Very impressed with the London branches efficiency.

We were able to arrange a time to go in and after paying the levy, had our blue stickers put in there and then.......bit of an anti-climax really...thought there'd be a band and fireworks lol
