Received Passports with Residence visa stikers

Hi,
Today i have received our passports with residence visa stikers. Thanks a ton to all for giving the support all these days. I am planning for the travel by the end of this month.

but i have few questions regarding travel.Can anyone clarify me the below questions?
1. I want to travel this month end and my family want to join with me after 2 months. Is it possible to travel individually first time?
2. What are all the things we should/carry take care while travelling from Immigration side? I mean any specific documents other than my passport and visa.
3. Do we need to go for medical tests again just for the travel purpose?

1. Yes, that's fine.
2. I can't think of anything that Immigration would require of you. Just think about what you'll need, for practical reasons, in the first steps in your new life - your finances, your driving licence, anything for your health and wellbeing (any medication you're currently on, spectacles if you use them). There's an old thread here http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10641 which starts with checks pre-departure, then moves into ideas for when you are new in NZ.
