Work Visa under LTSS list or accredited employer
Hi guys, I have an offer of employment from an accredited employer. I have a degree in the LTSS list too, which is currently being assessed by nzqa. Should I wait for the assessment to apply for a work visa, or is the accredited employer's approval in principle enough. Moreover, I have just finished by masters at Auckland uni, but don't have any results yet (research based) to apply for graduate job search visa.

I am from India and recently got a job from an Accredited Employer in NewZealand. I directly applied for a 'WTR-Accredited employer' visa and did not assess my qualifications with NZQA. Both me and my partner got the visa in 2 weeks. See http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=40596 for more details.

I agree - no need to wait to get the work visa. When your assessment and master's result come through, with also having the job, you will have plenty of points, and could apply directly for Residence, without needing to use the graduate job search visa.
