Need to lodge a visa application in Singapore?
A new Visa Application centre (VAC) was opened today in Singapore. The Singapore branch is the receiving office for visa applications for visitor, work, student, transit, label transfers, permanent resident visa/resident visa renewal applications and resident applications for partnership, dependent children and parent categories from citizens of Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Maldives, Seychelles and Afghanistan. If you are about to lodge a visa application at this office, make sure you check the Office and Fees Finder for the new address. You will be charged an additional $40SG (=£21 approx) as the VAC fee. If it goes anything like the London one that opened in December (cost £24), it will take a few weeks to get its processes sorted but then everything will be back to normal. Hope this helps someone out there! Karen
