whats to look at on INZ?...

Have read somewhere that dates on status can change if "someone" "looks at it"...dont understand, looks at what? do CO's have access to applications status that have passwords, even so, there is no info there...do they mean if the application is done online?

The online 'status' tells applicants what the state is of the case they have submitted. The application is accessible to INZ officials - they are the people who have to process it. So when I've said 'if someone looks at it', I mean someone from INZ, doing their work. They will only deliberately alter the online record if the case has got to a new stage. However, as you've no doubt also seen, there is a glitch in the system which alters the 'medical received' date for no apparent reason when the case has been accessed.
