    Default Tourist Visa to Work Visa

    Good day. This forum has helped me a lot during my Silver Fern Job Search Visa application last year. Once again, I am posting to seek for help, this time not for me but for my cousin. She arrived 2 weeks ago on a tourist visa, and loves to stay here to work. Right now, she is looking for jobs and hoping for a job offer. If she gets one, will INZ require her to go back to the Philippines to process her work permit or can she process it here without returning home?

    She can apply for a temporary work visa from within NZ.
