    Default UPDATING CO for any information change

    Hello,

    I have send my application and seems it is undergoing verification phase.
    I have already provided set of additional documents one month ago.
    Now I am waiting for NZQA results.

    Also, I am planning to change my current job in India itself.
    Q1. Do I need to tell my CO about this ?
    Q2. If I tell him, Will he also do verification from my new oranization ?
    Pls. suggest.

    Q1: If i remember it right, it was clearly stated that you need to inform INZ of any changes in information that you have provided in the application.

    Q2: This is entirely up to the CO. In my case, they didn't call up the existing employer to verify but they did extensive verfication with my previous employer(s).

    Hi Jitin, Yes any changes in status after ITA - application launchment should be informed to CO and as bulu mentioned in theory the verification process is mandatory, but in CO's discretion this can or can not happen. This has to be informed. In my case i have sent the resignation copy, relieving letter, Offer letter, Joining date, new company ID card etc... After joining the first 3 months payslips also and i have heard that the verification was done, and CO asked to send the HR mail id and Direct desk no. So my advise is to keep them informed.

    Thanks for sharing info.
    But I have still not changed my job.
    Now I am thinking of, So Do i need to inform my CO before joining or after joining ?
    I assume I should join and then provide further details or I inform my CO via mail & later I share all the related documents required.

    Hi Jitin,

    You can update your CO about the change in employment once you join the new organization. You can attach your relieving letter from your current employer and the offer letter from the new one as proof of the same. This is what I did when I changed my job while my ITA was with INZ.

    Hi,
    My timeline is as below:
    EOI (no Job) September 2012
    ITA lodged: December 2012
    CO Assigned: Beijing
    Futher Documents Required: January 2013
    Date for submitting IQA Report & other docs is May 2013

    Hi Sramn,

    So, did your CO verified your new employment?
    To me, I think it is not good if my new organization knows through verification that I may leave them in few months.
    I have around 7.5 yrs exp and till now they have verified all my employments.

    So, can I request my CO to not perform verification for my new job with an explanation?
    Please suggest.

    Had the same fear. But when I learned about the info exchange here, I still informed my CO. She did not ask for contact information of my new work. So I assume she does not intend to do verification
