Default Will employers offer WHV holders a full time permanent job?

Will employers offer Working Holiday Visa holders a full time permanent job? And thereafter I can apply for EOI with the job offer?

    It can work that way.

A WHV holder is only allowed to have a temporary contract, so there has to be some co-operation from the employer when you are wanting to start working permanently, and he wants you in a skilled job - you start working as a temporary, then he makes you the offer of a permanent job which you can show to INZ as part of your EOI.

From my experience you can come to NZ on WHV, apply for jobs, have job interviews. Always tell employers you have 12 month work visa, if you get a job offer, you can sign a long-term contract no problem. Of course you have to convince your employer you have long-term plans to stay and are not just on a holiday, but that's not too difficult. Once you have a job, the onus is on you to make sure you apply for the relevant visa to extend your stay. And yes the fact you have a job and have NZ work experience will give you extra points for a skilled migrant expression of interest.
