Short term accom

Hi all,

My partner and I are moving to Wellington at the end of June we'll need some short term (3month) furnished accommodation whilst our container is crossing the ocean. Apart from Gumtree can anyone recommend places to look for this kind of thing in Wellington?

look for holiday homes: www.holidayhomes.co.nz and www.bookabach.co.nz and https://www.airbnb.com and www.travelbug.co.nz as well as http://www.wellingtonnz.com/accommodation/ I am sure there are more sites if you check google. Don't be afraid to negotiate if you stay for a week in any one place as they do specials and as its winter time you should get a good deal. Good luck!

Hi there, look on trademe.co.nz for rentals, you don't have to be a member, a lot of the Real Estate Companies who advertise on there show their email and contact details. Hope you find something, these rentals should work out cheaper than holiday homes and some do consider renting for 3 months instead of the usual fixed term of 6 months.

Not many fully furnished rentals on trademe but always worth a look unless your prepared to be flatmates for the period of time you need to be, which would probably be the cheapest option but you will need to do that when you arrive so that you find flatmates who you are compatible with. :-)
