Default Differentiation between Residents n Permanent Residents

Not sure whether this is right forum to post this question but still going ahead n asking question. (Moderator can move this question to different section if required)

From the benefits point of view what are the differentiating factors between residents n permanent residents?? I mean from point of view of social security, schooling, medical, other rights?

    Thanks,
    Krunal

Residents and PR holders have the same rights for use of the health service and the school system.

There is a wide variety of state benefits in NZ, and entitlement to them varies. You can check details here. http://www.workandincome.govt.nz/individuals/ Some detail that may be of interest to newly arriving migrants is given here. http://www.enz.org/family-assistance-new-zealand.html
