Police Clearance Certificate for 6 months baby ???

Hi All,

Can you please tell me if a Police Clearance Certificate is required for my son who is 6 months old ??.

I am applying visa for myself and my visa through work to residence visa ..

You donot need Police Clearance Certificate for your son who is 6 months old.

Police clearance are only required for those who are 17 years and over.

and what period (how many years) police certificate should cover?? should it be from the 17th birthday?? or it should be from date of birth??

Whole life. The wording doesn't make this clear in the instructions, but people have previously asked INZ.
