Waiting, but excited!

So been a slight lurker on the boards, haven't had much to post or comment on. I have been in NZ with my partner who is a resident. Have had several visas (one visitor and two work visas based on partnership) already with NZ but have been waiting on the big resident visa!!! Just had someone from immigration call yesterday just to ask me some questions to verify the relationship items on the application and told me they were in the last stages of processing! I'm pretty excited and hopefully will hear soon if it has been granted or not! Had actually applied for a further work visa because I hadn't been assigned a CO yet and a few days after submitting that I had a CO! Funny how that works! And a week after sending in further evidence of financial interdependence (been several months since my application was received to when I had a CO, so they just wanted proof covering those few months), I had a phone interview. He asked when we met, when we met in person since we met online, and who came to the wedding from our families. We have our fingers crossed that we have good news soon!

Just thought I would update. Got the e-mail notification yesterday that my status had changed. Logged on and residency has been approved!!!! Yay!!!!! Spoke with INZ today and they said once I get the letter from the CO, to send in my passport, pay levy and get my sticker! So excited!!!

Are you sending your passport via courier or going to the INZ office personally? What's the norm anyway, anyone?
