Default Going to Auckland on working holiday visa.

    Hi,

I'm a 22 year old girl from Sweden going to Auckland in the middle of October. I will try to get a job and move to a flat share.

But where is the best areas to live if you don't have a car? Is it any area I should watch out for? Anywhere close to city but also close to nature and the sea?

    Grateful for all answers!

trademe.co.nz lists a lot of shares ("flatting" as it's known here). Any of the CBD, St Mary's Bay, Freeman's Bay, Ponsonby, Newton, Grafton, Parnell are close to the city centre. Kingsland, Mt Eden, Herne Bay and Grey Lynn are too.
