My OH said, wine is relatively cheaper and better than USA and I found Kiwi fruits for sure.

Except, there is no way wine is cheaper in NZ than the US.

But there are so many different types of wine. Difficult to compare when the price can vary so enormously comparing on the quality surely?

Not really. The exact same Australian wines are more here than in California. The exact same NZ wines are sometimes equivalent prices here but often more. Going up in quality just increases the disparity in prices.

I will grant you that the Countdown item doesn't have a year on it but Bevmo doesn't always have the right photo and year. Prices do vary from year to year. It demonstrates the point though.

I am rethinking car insurance after renewing the registration of two cars this month. Each had a $222 ACC levy; add that onto the auto insurance, and it gets pretty close to my US policy. Note: car registration costs vary by State, YMMV.

I like a decent red wine but I'm certainly not a connoisseur. I find the selection and prices in Countdown (my local grocery store) comparable to the selection and prices in Safeway - Arizona - but I'm also buying the lower (cheap) wines.....however they're not in a box!

Cheese. But I come from the land of the nasty Canadian cheese cabal.

Canned tomatoes are often on sale for .99 at Countdown - less than what I would pay (sale price) in Arizona/U.S.
