Default Does Partnership Visa allow for permanent job?

I'm really sorry for such a basic question (I did search but couldn't find anything).

As the title suggests, now that I'm on a Partnership Visa (which I think comes under Work Visa) can I apply for a permanent job rather than a temp/contract job?

I'm unsure because my Visa is due to expire next year, and I don't want to invalidate my visa by breaking the rules etc.

    Many Thanks

Partnership Visas are open work visas, so you can work in almost any profession. Some employers may be unfamiliar with partner sponsored work visas, so it may be easiest to describe them as a work visa when talking to employers.

    Thanks for the reply.

So just to clarify, I can apply for a permenant role?

Or should I just continue to take temporary jobs?

    Sorry, and thanks

Yes, you can take a permanent job. Good luck!
