    Default Time between flights

I'm looking at booking my flight to NZ and was slightly worried that the time between some of the flights was only 1 hour, just wondering if anyone else knows if this actually enough time or is it cutting it too close?

    cheers!

... are they two halves of the same flight (as it were) or two separately booked flights. If the first, then it will be fine. If the second, I would think it is cutting it a bit fine for comfort. We usually go visa Singapore and find a 3 hour gap perfect. The flights go into one terminal and out another - being a big airport, it needs the whole hours to get sorted. We pend the other 2 hours having a swim and a shower at the rooftop pool. Cheers. Karen

What flight/airport are you looking at in particular?

Yea its the the same booked flight with 2 or 3 connections and different airlines, the 1 hour change over would be at Singapore airport

In that case, check which terminal the flights go into and out of. If it's not the same terminal, it will be a rush, but if it is the same flight, they should wait for you. Since they built the third terminal, there are some long distances - even though their is a train between them. I have a preference for Singapore Airlines so you only have one stop.

When I last came back from UK 3 years ago I booked with Singapore and there was an hour between flights and the Plane came in 30 mins late and I was very impressed the way they handled it As soon as I got off the plane there were notices and people there to escort you through quickly if you were on the Auckland flight. Ok there was no time to do anything but they are obviously used to this and it worked fine. There were quite a few people for this flight with me so it was in their interest to ensure we were all on the flight plus the luggage was transferred over without seeing it.
