    Default EOI Select :: September 4th, 2013

    Hi Guys!

EOI was selected on Sep 4th, roughly estimate how long they will send ITA?
Walked to Immgration - Henderson branch (Just next to my office), they told up to 6 months !!! No guarantee....

    Thanks

Hi. I am surprised you haven't had your ITA yet. This could possibly be related to your country of citizenship, because they are having difficulty checking out some of the factors for which you have claimed points or for some other reason. I do know that at least some people whose EOIs were selected on the same date have had their ITAs - but this does not mean you won't get one - just that the checking is taking longer. Did yours include points for employment or job offer in NZ? Cheers. karen

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for your reply, so sorry I didn't come in ENZ for looong time.
We just try to relax on this till now

I would like to check anyone under EOI Select on Sep 4th, 2013 has been asssigned CO yet?

    Probably some has already.

Our application (My husband - principle applicant & myself as partner) lodged on Jan3, 2014 and till now still not been assigned CO yet... I understood there are heap of queues during xmas & NY holiday but it sounds too long?

    Thanks
    Ice

    Hi JandM,
    Thanks for your thump up
unfortunately we have some problem regarding my husband employment contract, the IO said we can't use that since it's fixed term (3-5 years) contract even it's full time. He came to NZ under expatriated condition.
I don't understand why another of his colleague same case but CO (not IO) was ok with that. And why our case has been passed to IO, not CO. Not sure does it matter?

it would be great if you can suggest any possible way we can go?
Worst case we need to cancel this application and restart again with my employment contract (Full time and permanent) but it mean we need to take like another half year which is hurr.r..
    Thanks/ Ice
