Beijing Branch - ITS Progress Thread

I Can see a Thread running for most other brances but not for Beijing. Hence creating this thread so that all under Beijing branch can share their ITA Progress here. If you check the Official Website for Beijing branch we cant see any time lines for SMC. So please share your updates/thoughts and keep the Thread alive. Cheers...

Check my siggy. Note that for my case there was an extra 3 month delay getting a CO assigned due to their internal staff restructuring.

Thanks for the info. So it took one full year for the CO to be assigned in Beijing branch.
What was the restructuring that you mentioned about ? Is there any improvements in the time lines after that ?

Dear All

I still have not recieved my ITA though i have 145 points without Job Offer.
My Case is also with Beijing Branch

I wrote to them on 30th Aug and following is reply

I got my ITA received on AUG 30th from Beijing .They had given me 4 months time to submit the ITA.
Applied for PCC(police verfication ) yesterday..I have started working on each item otherthan IELTS. Since I had masters and MNC working exp might get some waiver on this exam. If you have any idea on this plz share the info.

Got an email from INZ Beijing that said the recent staffing changes have negatively affected Immigration New Zealand Beijing Branch’s overall processing capacity. So that's why mine took 12 months instead of the 9 months said in the beginning. Now i believe it should be normal again

To make your case strong I strongly recommend you to take IELTS
