Citizenship ceremony

Hi,

We are waiting the citizenship ceremony since two months ago. We are in auckland.
We are warried that there will be no ceremony until the year end and we need to travel.

Do you think is fine to ask the citizenshio office about the next date or to attend it in another place ?

Usually they hold them in August and February of each year in our area. The last one here on North Shore was in August. My neighbours contacted the internal affairs office as they are having their citizenship next time and they were told it will be some time in February but a date has yet to be confirmed

Thanks for replying. It seems it depends on the area. There was one in manukau on last september
I live in auckland city, so not sure when. I will ask the office.

I am surprised it is less frequent in Auckland. In Tauranga is also almost every month. I started to be impatient ;-)

Unfortunately no reply to my email. It seems they do not reply to emails. Are you in the city also ?

Hopefully if anyone gets some info we will get it here.
