Plumbing Apprenticeship wanted in NZ or advice
Hello All,
I am moving to the Bay of Plenty district at the end of November 2005 and I am desperately trying to arrange an apprenticeship for myself as a Plumber.
I am presently working as a Plumber here in the UK however I dont have a formal qualifcation yet.
I was wondering if there was anyone out there who may be able to provide some further information or advice?
I have contacted the Apprenticeship Training trust, the Industry Training Organisation, the Plumbing, Gasfitting & Drainlaying Board, many employment agencies and the information is unanimous that I have to find an employer myself who is seeking an apprentice.
I am what is called a 'mature' wannabee apprentice (mid 30's).
I look forward to any advice someone may have.
Thanks
Lee
