    Default Study on Resident Visa

    Hi

    I have a query. I have just received my resident visa and will be travelling to NZ next year.

    I was confused on one thing and thought to ask on this forum. Can I study on this resident visa. If yes will I pay for domestic student fees. In most of universities link I have seen fees for domestic as (NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident) and I have not find anywhere if resident visa people is also covered in Domestic fees.

    Would really appreciate someone's response.

    Hi, yes you can study on a resident visa and you do pay domestic fees - as for the needs of the University you are a 'permanent resident' since you are on a resident visa.
    But I think you will need to enroll after you've actually settled in NZ.
