Birth certificate

Hi everyone
Is birth certificate necessary for NZ visa. Someone want to apply his visa from india but he didn't have birth certificate. He did apply but birth records has been lost, so he can't get that. Please if anyone can help??

Yes it is mendate.In his case he can easily get 'No Record Found certificate' from munciple corporation

One possible option that you can submit as proof (in case the original birth certificate is lost), is to use any of the school/university certificates bearing the birth details.

Well in my case that was not accepted by CO.He asked ne to submit 'No Found' along with School certificate.
