Free tour of Wellington Parliament and Archives - 22nd Jan
Hi,
the Wellington Newcomers Network is starting to put up it's programme on Facebook, our 1st event is the 17th, picnic and music at the Sound Shell (details on soon) then on the 22nd we've a family orientated event in the morning and this event in the afternoon.

Join us for a guided tour of the New Zealand Parliament buildings!
The visit of the New Zealand Parliament will take an hour. The tour starts at 3pm and we are required to be there at least 15 minutes prior.
We'll meet at 2:30pm in front of the Parliament’s main entrance between the Beehive and the steps of Parliament House.
After the tour we could also visit Archives New Zealand (open till 5pm), where the original copies of the Treaty of Waitangi are held (the founding document of modern New Zealand) if we wanted to.
The Parliament tour as well as the visit to Archives are free of charge. The event will take roughly 2 hours, but if people are keen we can definitely grab a drink or an ice cream at the water front afterwards (optional though).
We need to know how many people want to join by Wednesday the 15th January the latest, so that Wellington Newcomers Network can book you spots on the tour. Just hit the "join" button or leave a comment if you have further questions.
