Yaay! Finally got THAT letter in the mail, and I am approved in principle on our Partnership based Residence Class Visa. Took them a month. Now we just need to go Manukau branch and get the blue sticker and pay the Migrant Levy (will be on Tuesday, so in a week).

Hi,

I handed my application in the 10th of December 2013, got a case manager the 10th of January 2014 and approved the same day. I received the letter Tuesday the 14th of January.

Before then:
Working Holiday Visa 26th of July 2011
Working Visa under Partnership 19th of July 2012
Working Visa under Partnership 26th of May 2013 (but valid until 19th of July 2014)

All my visa's have taken approx a month.

All applications processing time depends on the amount of information you have provided the case manager with, as well as history with INZ and country you are from (unfortunately) - it varies from person to person.
