I see from other posts that you have a job in NZ. That means you won't get a routine interview. SMC interviews are for people who don't have a skilled job in NZ, or the offer of one, for the CO to judge the person's employability and preparedness for NZ life. Obviously, when you're there already, with a job, that is proved.
Besides the routine interview, INZ officials have the right to interview any applicant on any matter that they feel would be useful to them, so it COULD happen, but it's very rare.
