Default 'Significant contribution to NZ economy' as a salaried person?

    Hi all,

Just curious, if one with NZ job and qualifications in LTSSL or Absolute Skill Shortage areas, is treated as a significant contributor to NZ economy? Or it applies to Business Visa applicants who invest in millions? I never really understood the term 'significant contribution to NZ economy'. Does it have a number or is subjective?

    Thanks,
    O

    Mainly from these two places-

    1. Residence Review Board - https://forms.justice.govt.nz/search/IPT/Residence/ (search for term 'significant contribution economy' or variations)

    2. DoL site - http://www.dol.govt.nz/publications/...ds-1011/01.asp (it is under Business Visa)

I see it as a subjective word
