    Default Visa officer changed

    hi everybody,

    i came to know today that my visa officer has been changed. So why does it happen and what effects can it have. thanks.

    There can be many reasons for a change of CO, none of them personal to you, the applicant. Officials leave their jobs, get promoted or moved to another office. If there is a backlog of work in one INZ office, cases are sometimes transferred to a different one where there is some slack.

    When a CO is working a case, everything they do is documented as they go along. So your previous CO will have written up everything s/he has already done, and the new one will pick up from there.
