So long as you have the evidence that you lived together for at least 3 months in a genuine and stable relationship and have been in constant communication while in separate countries, a temp partnership-based work visa should take a max of 6 weeks, probably less. This assumes you are both of good character, have no health problems etc. the difficulties experienced by some Fijians after the military coup have just been relaxed.
