Default Schools in Howick and surrounding suburbs

    Hi everyone

We will be looking for a school for our daughter in a few weeks. We arrive in Auckland in 2 weeks :-) . we have just rented a house in Botany Downs until we get an idea of areas etc...and decide where to buy next year. Anyway just wondering if anyone had first hand experience of schools in these areas.

    Thanks in advance

Most of the primary schools in the Howick area are very good, but you would have to live in the school zone to attend them, Howick college (high) or Pakuranga college you might be able to apply when out of zone. Not familliar with schools in Botany, sorry.

You can't go wrong with schools in the Botany/Howick area, they are all very good. There is a large Chinese population in the area who demand high standards of education. This has helped to raise the achievement levels of schools to a very high level.
