    Anyone into canning/pickling/preserving? If so, can you tell me where is the cheapest place to find jars? Also, has anyone seen alum around? Thanks!!

    Hi Auburn. Did you ever find an answer to this? I have the exact same question now. the jars Ive seen online are ludicrously priced.

    Would you not just use old jars from sauces and jams that you buy? I use those for my pickles and I know a lot of our friends do but if thats not what you want I am sure places like 'Spotlight' or 'Briscoes' might have them Hope that helps
