    Hi:

I have a Master in Computer Science and 20 years of working experience in United State.
For the past 4 years I have been working as a technology specialist in Microsoft Azure.
I also have experience with Amazon Web Services.
I have held various positions like:
    Technical Lead
    Enterprise architect
    Technology Evangelist
    Technical Sales
    Solution architect

I am trying to understand the demand for Cloud Computing, DevOps, Mobile dev, Big Data, Enterprise Architects, Consultants etc.

I don't know exactly about cloud computing but with that kind of experience you could be getting better salary compared to NZ. If you want to have a look at the job market, then seek is the right place to search. Nearly all medium to high paid jobs are listed there.

I'm in the industry, we consume a number of these services and to be honest, the majority of the services are farmed through Aus/APAC woth local POP. There are some local positions, but in a country of only 4million, very limited. Try Australia, that's where we go through for all our needs (hybris hosting, enterprise MS, etc...).

Agree with what G-Mo said above. NZ does have a CSA Chapter, and may be posting this question to them might get you some insights (https://chapters.cloudsecurityalliance.org/newzealand/).

    Hi,

You might want to check out a few small businesses as well as larger ones. Performing a search like this could help you find some company websites and they might be looking for developers right now , or some time soon!

Really suggest you have a good CV and can handle the interview though.
