EOI Selected>ITA Received>NZQA Completed>ITA Lapsed
Hi,
I am new to this forum and really appreciate your support and guidance from senior members.
My EOI was selected in december in automatic selection (145 points). Later, I was issued with ITA as well. But due to delay in document compilation my ITA has been lapsed.
My total experience is 7 years in Telecommunication
NZAQ Outcome: A Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Specialises in Network & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering)
I and my spouse have already completed NZQA assessment a week ago.
My question are:
1) Is is ok if I simply create new EOI again?
2) I had a baby in last month, and yet the registration process is not completed. Of cource I need to get his birth certificate and passport etc.. Is it ok if I create new EOI without adding my child's information and add later in amendement when I get his birth certificate and passport? Or I should wait to get all documents ready and create EOI for once?
Thanks in advance for your expert opinions
BR

Yes - go ahead and create a new EOI, but although it is okay to add a baby born after the EOI, it could be seen as withholding information of your don't declare baby now, so I would wait before you submit it. Will it take long to get the birth certificate and passport?

Thanks Karen,
It would take at least 1 month or more to get every thing ready (including birth certificate, passport). Shoud I wait or just put new EOI application?

I think you need to wait - sorry! I did ask INZ this question for a client recently and this was the advice we were given. The trouble is you can't declare the existence of the baby without al these details - it won't let you submit. If you don't declare baby's existence, adding on a baby that is already born is trickier later - if the baby was due, but not yet arrived, it would be straightforward. I would get the paperwork as quickly as you can and then put in the EOI immediately.
